The EARAS (Energy-aware robotic assembly systems) EUREKA research project, conducted by Fraunhofer IGCV and BlueYonder (formerly Flexis, Germany), as well as Hepenix and SZTAKI (Hungary), has developed innovative tools for designing and scheduling production systems to meet productivity requirements while minimizing energy consumption and cost. At the workshop, project partners present the key results of the project, including novel approaches to measuring energy consumption, energy-aware production system configuration, production scheduling, as well as detailed energy evaluation. Manufacturers, system integrators, and researchers are warmly invited to join.
Participation is free, but registration is required. The event is open to the press; video and photo recordings may be made on site.
